Vom 9. Juli bis zum 12. Juli 2015 findet in der Lausitz bereits zum 11. Mal das Internationale Folklorefestival Lausitz statt. Tanz- und Folkloregruppen der Lausitzer Sorben laden sich erneut 10 Ensembles aus aller Welt ein um dem interessierten Publikum ein abwechslungsreiches und buntes Programm bieten zu k?nnen. Das Interesse an einer Teilnahme ist gro?. Gruppen von allen Kontinenten w?rden jedes Mal gern in die Lausitz kommen. Bei der Auswahl legen die Ausrichter wieder besondere Aufmerksamkeit auf die Teilnahme von Vertretern von Volksgruppen und Minderheiten.
Das Festival beginnt am Donnerstagabend mit einem Festumzug durch Bautzen vom Postplatz zum Hauptmarkt. Daran schlie?t sich die feierliche Er?ffnung auf der mittelalterlichen Bautzener Ortenburg an.
Am Freitagabend wird Drachhausen in der Niederlausitz Gastgeber f?r die Estrade internationaler Folklore sein.
Am Samstag erwarten Sie dann in Crostwitz wieder die traditionell und festlich geschm?ckten Bauernh?fe mit Musik und Tanz der Folkloregruppen, die Sie auch gern zum Mitmachen einladen. In gewohnter Weise werden kulinarische K?stlichkeiten aus der Lausitz sowie von unseren G?stegruppen angeboten. Anschlie?end ist jeder, besonders aber die Jugend, zum Mittanzen und -singen beim "Crostwitz-Special" auf einem Bauernhof eingeladen.
Ein Bauernhof wird bereits ab Mittag Gastgeber f?r den t?nzerischen und musikalischen Nachwuchs sowie Musikfolkloregruppen sein. Gleichzeitig ?ffnet der Markt traditioneller Gewerke und wird auch den ganzen Sonntag zu sehen und zu erleben sein.
Der Sonntag beginnt in Crostwitz mit einem mehrsprachigen Festgottesdienst. Danach bietet sich Ihnen ein bunter Nachmittag, beginnend mit dem Festumzug der Teilnehmer durch Crostwitz und dem thematischen Programm Lausitzer Folkloregruppen. Hindsgavl Festival - Holiday in music - Europe's by far most intimate and exclusive classical music festival.
The festival takes place during the first half of July every year on an 18th century Castle, Hindsgavl Castle, in the charming town of Middelfart. With some 220 km west of Copenhagen on the island Fyn, Middelfart is situated right in the middle of Denmark and a 3-5 day stop-over at the festival could therefore easily be combined with further explorations of the rest of Denmark / Northern Germany.
The castle is a unique combination of a classic castle and a modern hotel with a capacity of 70 double rooms and 35 single rooms. The musicians as well as most of the audience live in the castle during the festival creating a very special musical community in the most beautiful setting imaginable. The concerts during the festivals 10 days take place in the castles Garden Room with a maximum capacity of only 70 audience which makes it a truly intimate chamber music experience for all involved!
The past 8 years the festival has raised its musical ambitions considerably and now attracts an exclusive mix of World class musicians alongside young super talents just before their breakthrough.
Despite the high musical aspirations, the atmosphere is very relaxed, food is excellent and surroundings call for outdoor activities. Consider bringing your running and swimming gear and feel free to join our small group for a morning run-and-swim before breakfast. Hindsgavl Festival - Holiday in music - Europe's by far most intimate and exclusive classical music festival.
The festival takes place during the first half of July every year on an 18th century Castle, Hindsgavl Castle, in the charming town of Middelfart. With some 220 km west of Copenhagen on the island Fyn, Middelfart is situated right in the middle of Denmark and a 3-5 day stop-over at the festival could therefore easily be combined with further explorations of the rest of Denmark / Northern Germany.
The castle is a unique combination of a classic castle and a modern hotel with a capacity of 70 double rooms and 35 single rooms. The musicians as well as most of the audience live in the castle during the festival creating a very special musical community in the most beautiful setting imaginable. The concerts during the festivals 10 days take place in the castles Garden Room with a maximum capacity of only 70 audience which makes it a truly intimate chamber music experience for all involved!
The past 8 years the festival has raised its musical ambitions considerably and now attracts an exclusive mix of World class musicians alongside young super talents just before their breakthrough.
Despite the high musical aspirations, the atmosphere is very relaxed, food is excellent and surroundings call for outdoor activities. Consider bringing your running and swimming gear and feel free to join our small group for a morning run-and-swim before breakfast.
