The wait is over! In our consecutive 4th year in Portugal, we proudly present the new home of the Algarve Smooth Jazz Festival: Pine Cliffs, a Luxury Collection Resort - an award-winning Resort & Spa in Albufeira, which is one of the leading Luxury and Family Resorts in Europe. The exquisite hidden jewel enjoys a spectacular seafront location on the top of the Algarvian red cliffs, above the famous beach, Praia da Falésia - Falésia Beach - considered to be in the top3 most beautiful beaches of Portugal and Spain.
The 5-star resort, managed by Marriott International through its 'The Luxury Collection' brand, is traditionally styled with indigenous design, where Portuguese history is narrated through murals and hand painted tiles, skillfully complemented by native architecture. On 72 hectares, Pine Cliffs boasts exceptional leisure and sports facilities incl. the 1,100m² awarded Serenity Spa, a gym & health club, a Tennis Academy, a 9-hole cliff-top golf course and Golf Academy as well as swimming pools and water sports (seasonal). A selection of 11 restaurants and bars provide a prime dining experience - one of them on the beach, accessable via a walkway and panoramic elevator.
The Resort comes up with different options of hotels and properties: For our festival packages, we chose on the one hand the 'Pine Cliffs Hotel' and the 'Pine Cliffs Ocean Suites'. They are both part of the Luxury Collection brand and are located in the main building complex, where the main festival action happens. And on the other hand, we chose in short walking distance the brand-new 'Pine Cliffs Gardens' (built in 2018) and the 'Pine Cliffs Townhouses'. The latter are available with up to 3 separate bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), a living room and a full equiped kitchen - the most cost effective solution and perfect for being shared with friends.
The Resort also comes up with a fabulous place for the concerts: The 'Tabu Garden Lounge' is an open-air venue right on top of the cliffs. Imagine, live-music in your ears, a cool drink in your hand... and from your seat, you are not just overlooking the stage, but also the Atlantic Ocean.
